Privacy Policy

1. The honest summary

Your files never leave your computer. That's not a marketing line: it's the site's architecture. There is no server receiving your PDFs — all processing happens in your browser. You can verify this yourself in the Network tab of your browser's developer tools while using any tool.

2. What we NEVER collect

We never receive, see or store: your PDF files or any part of them; text you type or recognize via OCR; images and signatures; file names; email addresses or any account data (there are no accounts).

3. What we measure (minimal telemetry)

We measure two things, and only two: (a) page visited — anonymous visit statistics via Cloudflare Web Analytics, with no cookies and no fingerprinting; (b) tool completed — when a tool finishes successfully (e.g. "split"), we record only the tool name, with no information about the file, about you or about your device.

We use these numbers exclusively to learn which tools are useful and prioritize improvements. You can inspect every call in DevTools: it's a POST with a single word, like {"tool":"split"}.

4. Local storage

The site uses your browser's localStorage and Cache API to work offline and remember preferences (theme, language, already-downloaded OCR models). This data stays on your device and can be erased anytime by clearing the site's data in your browser.

5. Cookies and ads

Today the site uses no tracking cookies and shows no ads. If we ever display advertising, this policy will be updated beforehand, with a note in the changelog.

6. Your rights (GDPR / LGPD)

Since we don't collect identifiable personal data, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side — we have nothing of yours. Local data (section 4) is under your full control in your browser.
