Terms of Use
Last updated: August 7, 2026
1. The service
NoCatchPDF is a set of PDF tools that runs entirely in the user's browser. There is no sign-up, no charge and no file upload: all processing (opening, editing, merging, splitting, compressing, signing, recognizing text) happens locally, on the user's device.
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, simply don't use the service.
2. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Although processing is local, we recommend keeping a copy of your original files before any operation. We are not liable for loss, corruption or unwanted alteration of documents, nor for decisions made based on tool results (including OCR-recognized text, which should be reviewed by the user).
3. Signatures
The signature tool produces a simple electronic signature (a hand-drawn or imported image). It does not replace a certificate-based digital signature (such as ICP-Brasil) where the law requires that format. The legal validity of the signature depends on context and applicable law; if in doubt, consult a legal professional.
4. Acceptable use
You are solely responsible for the documents you process and how you use them. Do not use the service to violate copyrights, confidentiality duties or applicable law.
5. Intellectual property and licenses
NoCatchPDF is built on open-source software, including pdf-lib (MIT license), pdf.js and Tesseract.js (Apache-2.0 license). The documents you process are and remain entirely yours — we claim no rights over them (and since we never receive them, we couldn't even if we wanted to).
6. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change the tools and these terms at any time; significant changes are recorded in the public changelog. Continued use after a change implies acceptance of the new terms.
7. Contact
Questions, problems or suggestions: open an issue at github.com/camilasehnem/nocatchpdf-suporte (do not attach documents with sensitive data) or write to contato@nocatchpdf.com.
