Is the watermark behind the content?
No — it is applied on top of the content, which is why the default is a low 30% opacity that keeps the text readable. Adjust the opacity slider to taste.
Can I use an image as the watermark?
Yes. Upload a JPG or PNG and set its width as a percentage of the page, plus opacity and position.
Is my PDF sent to any server?
No. The watermark is applied entirely in your browser; the file never leaves your computer.
