Redact PDF: black out sensitive data for real
To redact sensitive data in a PDF with NoCatchPDF, open the tool, pick the file and drag rectangles over the sensitive areas of each page. When you apply, the marked pages become images with the black boxes burned in — the original text is really removed, not just covered. No upload, no sign-up.

Why is it free and unlimited?
Because processing happens in your browser, not on our servers. We don't pay for expensive infrastructure to process your files — so we don't need to charge you, make you sign up, or cap your usage. No catch: that's literally what the name means.
FAQ
Is the redacted text really removed?
Yes. Marked pages are converted to images with the black rectangles already painted in — the original text no longer exists in the file. Unlike tools that just draw a black box on top (the text stays there, copyable).
Do pages without marks change?
No. Only pages with at least one rectangle become images; the rest keep their original text and vectors.
Does the text of redacted pages stay selectable?
No — that is exactly what real removal guarantees. The page becomes an image, so nothing on it is selectable or searchable.
